Joint Professional Master’s Degree in Advanced Digital Technologies (Digital4Business) Launches to Address Critical Skills Gap

New programme delivers industry-ready graduates with 10% early bird discount available for first applicants.

Applications will soon open for the innovative Joint Professional Master’s Degree in Advanced Digital Technologies for Business (Digital4Business). This programme is designed to directly bridge Europe’s digital skills gap and create immediate employment opportunities for graduates. Early applicants can benefit from a 10% discount on tuition fees.

The programme, backed by €19.92 million in funding, has been meticulously designed in collaboration with industry leaders to ensure graduates possess the exact skills employers seek in today’s rapidly evolving digital economy. The programme also represents one of the largest non-infrastructure projects awarded under the European Commission’s flagship DIGITAL Europe programme, which provides €7.5 billion to accelerate economic recovery and shape Europe’s digital transformation.

The Joint Professional Master’s Degree in Advanced Digital Technologies for Business delivers a powerful combination of technical expertise and business application skills: 

  • High-Demand Technical Skills: Cloud Computing, Generative AI, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Business Programming, Blockchain Technologies, and Quantum Computing 
  • Business Integration Capabilities: Digital Transformation, Innovation, Data Governance and Ethics, Risk and Change Management, and Internet of Things (IoT) 
  • Practical Application: Culminating in a Digital Transformation Project/Practicum with real-world industry challenges

This innovative Master’s programme is delivered through a collaboration of four prestigious European universities: Linköping University (Sweden), University of Bologna Alma Mater Studiorum (Italy), National College of Ireland, and NOVA IMS (Portugal).

The Master’s qualification is jointly awarded by the University of Bologna, National College of Ireland, and NOVA IMS, providing international recognition across European markets.

The Master’s programme offers multiple formats to accommodate diverse professional needs: 

  • Full-Time Master’s (2 semesters, 60 ECTS) – €5,200 
  • Accelerated Master’s (3 semesters) – €5,720 
  • Part-Time Master’s (4 semesters over two years) – €5,720 

Additional options include: 

  • Postgraduate Certificate (30 ECTS) – €2,600 
  • Microcredentials (5 or 10 ECTS modules) – €1,573
